We have added a range of 1st line Keston spares into stock based on the common items we have been supplying over the last year. These include Thermal Fuses, Thermostats, Ignition Electrodes, On/Off Switches, Ignitor Cables, Ignitor Gaskets, Burner Head Gaskets and Fan Gaskets, covering most of the K and C boiler models.

I can’t believe its been over a month since the last posts! Since the change in weather early in October, we have been incredably busy… and all this without any real cold weather yet. One of the most challenging aspects of this time of year is the procurement of urgent non stock items, and those items that boiler manufacturers are out of stock of. Being an independent company and having been in the industry for many years, we have a wide range of options available when it comes to sourcing the spares that you need, when you need them.

As we head into the 2006 heating season we are delighted to welcome a new member to the Heating Support team ~ Dave. Dave has joined us from Simons Construction where he worked for 36 years as an Electrician and Heating Engineer, specialising in both gas and oil commercial applications. This appointment has significantly added to the practical knowledge we have, and we are confident that it will improve the service we offer to all our customers.

Smoke-Stick ~ a new, revolutionary smoke testing device that provides a simple yet reliable method of testing air leakage and movement

Simply place a Smoke-Stick into the Smoke-Pen dispenser and adjust the length showing to about 10mm. Light the end and let it burn for a few seconds before blowing out the flame. Smoke-Stick immediately gives off a stable, sensitive smoke stream; testing can begin. Position Smoke-Stick close to the test area; when there is the slightest air movement the smoke profile will bend with just the right amount of sensitivity for the task.

Smoke-Stick Kit 3 provides over 300 seperate tests or 1½ hours of smoke. This is a brand new product on the market but early feedback from our customers is extremely positive. In addition we are also stocking Orange Smoke Pellets which come in a pack of 6 and have a 65 second burn time.

A new oil burner range from EOGB, a company renowned for high quality, technical excellence and environmentally safe products.

Heating Support enjoyed a successful and busy day yesterday with Warmflow’s product demonstration vehicle on site to showcase their latest High Efficieny boiler range.

Yesterday morning saw the Warmflow product demonstration vehicle roll into Lincoln with key Warmflow technical staff, Kevin Nicholson and John Cooper, on hand to present the products. There was a solid turnout by local heating engineers, who were still arriving during the late afternoon to see the HE range in action.

Everyone we spoke to seemed genuinely impressed by the new boilers, which include the HE Combi and the HE System models. Among the positive comments were those regarding standardisation of spare parts (which is of parctiular interest to us!) and ease of installation and servicing. Several engineers also commented on improvements to the range in the past couple of years which illustrate Warmflow’s commitment to customer satisfaction.
