Grant Engineering have introduced a number of new Vortex HE models at the lower end of the output range. Previously the entry level boilers were 15-26kW (50-90k Btu/h) but Grant have recently added 15-21kW (50-70k Btu/h) models at a lower price point. The following new models are now available:

The new Johnson & Starley Reno HE range of high efficiency boilers is aptly named. Reno stands for Renowned quality, performance, reliability and energy efficiency. These boilers are Sedbuk A rated, easy to use and install and with a choice of intelligent models to suit the differing requirements of a wide social and private housing market. They are available in Natural Gas and LPG versions.

Johnson & Starley are well known for their market leading products and the HE boilers are no exception, the Reno HE37C Combination Boiler for example has a class leading domestic hot water delivery of 15.2 Ltrs/min @ 35°C Rise. All boilers in the Reno HE range come with a two year guarantee and five years for the primary heat exchanger.

The Main System HE range join the existing HE Combi and HE Heat-Only ranges in offering a high quality, low cost boiler that comes complete with a standard flue kit. MagnaClean Professional sets an industry standard for plumbing and heating engineers when it comes to protecting and maintaining both new and existing central heating systems.

MagnaClean Professional is a powerful, compact magnetic filter with a unique swirl chamber designed to remove virtually 100% of suspended Iron Oxide and other particulate from the water circulating through the heating system. Unlike typical Y-strainer filters which clog up and experience a dramatic reduction in flow performance, MagnaClean Professional maintains full flow rates at all times, and is so powerful it will retain at least 50X the amount of debris on its easily removed sheath. The incredibly tough ‘Glass fibre reinforced Nylon’ shell is almost unbreakable.

Incorporated into the lid is a special air vent, which allows installers to quickly and easily add corrosion inhibiting chemicals without the need to isolate the filter. Simply unscrew the vent nipple (one-way valve shuts off), connect the chemical adaptor (supplied with all concentrates) and introduce the liquid directly into the heart of MagnaClean Professional, where it will quickly disperse into the circulating water. Replace the vent.
