So this is the first post in over 2 months. Where have we been? What have we been doing? Well, there hasn’t been a masive amount of new and exciting products to talk about and there has been the small matter in the (slight!) drop in temperature. Things have really got incredibly busy leaving little (or no) time for idol blog chit-chat. However with Christmas rapidly approaching and the need to communicate those important opening hours there was also a chance to mention the latest new Drayton controls product we are stocking that are proving strong sellers already. So on that happy note check out the above posts!

Saturday opening

The new year is here and things are returning to normal after a busy Christmas period ~ the supply of spares is starting to get back to normal after many of the manufacturers Christmas breaks.

I can’t believe its been over a month since the last posts! Since the change in weather early in October, we have been incredably busy… and all this without any real cold weather yet. One of the most challenging aspects of this time of year is the procurement of urgent non stock items, and those items that boiler manufacturers are out of stock of. Being an independent company and having been in the industry for many years, we have a wide range of options available when it comes to sourcing the spares that you need, when you need them.

Introducing the Heating Support team

As we head into the 2006 heating season we are delighted to welcome a new member to the Heating Support team ~ Dave. Dave has joined us from Simons Construction where he worked for 36 years as an Electrician and Heating Engineer, specialising in both gas and oil commercial applications. This appointment has significantly added to the practical knowledge we have, and we are confident that it will improve the service we offer to all our customers.

Dave joins Glyn, Sheila, Rob and Matt at Heating Support.

Halstead Hero spares now in stock

We have added a wide range of spares for the Halstead Hero Lightweight Cast Iron Boiler to our Halstead spares profile. With increased demand for these spares, we are pleased to be able to offer many items including the PCB, Fan Assembly, Gas Valve, Air Pressure Switch, Overheat Stat and Electrode from stock.

Updated Ravenheat spares profile

Over the last year we have seen a steady increase in the number of Ravenheat spares we have been supplying. To provide a more proactive service to our customers, we have today added a further 40 new lines of Ravenheat spares into stock.

The new spares provide first line coverage and more for models including the 820/20, CSI Primary, CSI 85 & 85T, RSF 84E & 84ET, Silver Star and White Star.

The new web site

After a little over the year with the original site, we are pleased to be able to share with you the new Heating Support web site.

The main objective with the new site is to deliver, regular, quality content about our business, the products and services we provide, and the industry in general. This has been achieved by using the Open Source publishing platform WordPress, as a means to provide this contecnt via Web and RSS delivery. We welcome and encourage comments, feedback and discussion about the articles and site.

The MyAccount feature from the original site is still available via the link on the sidebar, and will be updated and enhanced shortly to fit in with the look and feel of the new site. The products page will also be returning soon detailing the products and services we provide.

Heating Support and Halstead Boilers

Heating Support today unveiled a new dual branded shirt which will form part of the offical uniform worn by their staff. Featuring both the Heating Support and Halstead Boilers logos, the new polo shirts are an indication of the ongoing quality partnership the two companies enjoy.

We are a both a spares and boiler distributor for Halstead and carry a wide range of spares on stock.

Saturday opening

With September now here its that special time of the year when you can buy your spares from us on Saturday mornings! From tomorrow (2nd September 2006), we will be open from 8am to 12noon on Saturday’s through until May 2007.

As autumn and winter rapidly approach we are kicking of the new heating season with the immediate availability of our new flyer. It will be aimed at both new and existing customers, and it details some of the new and innovative products / services that we are now offering including:

Oil products for use in the commissioning and servicing of oil appliances.
Repair & calibration of test and measurement equipment.
The launch of the Sprint V2 ~ the next generation analyser.
The availability of bathroom products.
Our 98% spares coverage for Worcester.
The continuing availability of the Main Combi boiler range.
